Is there a fun or interesting way you’ve found to use your Intention Box?

We recently left our corporate jobs and started a consulting business for financial institutions. We had just finished a big project and were strategizing on business development. We pulled the life path, wealth and work cards from the intention box and slowed down to focus on prioritizing our activities, figuring out how to balance work and life and integrating our values into our business.

This morning my husband, daughter (age 6), and I each picked an Intention Card. We do it like we are playing Old Maid, so our Intention Card is a surprise. This morning we picked SIMPLICITY, GENEROSITY and ENVIRONMENT. We brainstormed how we could combine these and spend a meaningful family day together. So, we are going to do something simple but enjoyable by going to the library. We’re going to walk vs. drive and take some trash bags and gloves with us, b/c the trail we take is full of litter. Super easy stuff. But without spending those 2 minutes with our Intention Box this morning, we probably would not be doing this. And it’s so cool because we have family time together, get some exercise, help the environment and community, and we teach our daughter by putting our words into actions that make sense to her.
